Maffra Golf Club

Went over to the Maffra Golf Club today to check out the King Parrots, these have been attracted by the Acorn Trees. Counted about 30, mostly juveniles or females and one adult male.

You can see the remnants of the nuts all over the ground.

We then went over to the Knob at Stratford and walked up the hill to the lookout. First two birds we saw were Female Scarlet Robin and then it's mate. First sighting for the season.
