Heyfield Birdo's Bulga Park Outing.

Wednesday 2nd May saw 10 intrepid birdo's at Tarra Bulga National Park. The day was perfect and on arrival we saw 5 Bassian Thrush feeding at the visitors area. They stayed around for some time which is unusual for these birds. Some good photos were taken.
The species count was 26, including Wedge- Tailed Eagle, Superb Lyrebird, Crimson Rosellas, Eastern Spinebill, Lewin's Honeyeater, Olive Whistler and many more. Difficult to get photos in the dense undergrowth, but some follow.

Crimson Rosella. We had about four or five of these trying to eat  out of our hand at lunch time.
