Whilst down at the Desailly Flats flying field today I spotted what looked like a Wedge-Tailed Eagle in the paddock 400 yards away, on the ground and he was being attached by a couple of Ravens and Magpies. Made my way over and got as close as I could until he decided it was time to go. A sequence of photos follows.
Raven giving him a hard time.
He is now a bit wary as I have snuck up a bit closer.
Time to go.
Magpie seeing him off.
Then the Raven takes over again.
Ross.
